About xav.cc
xav.cc is a free url shortening service, initially built for the needs of lacot.org. Since then, the project has largely evolved and has turned out to be a large scale short urls creation service.
Usage
In a few words: be nice in your usage of xav.cc. You may not diffuse inappropriate content (including, but not exclusively, pornography, copyrighted material, spam, malware, warez, etc.). We will use all the required means to stop the diffuion of innapropriate content. Please see the terms and conditions page for more details.
Spammers
Please spammers go to hell burn for the eternity. You are just small small small rabbit droppings.
We are committed to build the best tools possible in order to limit the propagation of spam, and we continuously try to improve xav.cc and include new spam and malware detection systems.
Open-source
The software running this website is distributed as an open-source project, available as a Subversion repository at http://opensource.lacot.org/xav.cc/svn. Xav.cc is built on the framework symfony, and uses several plugins contributed by xav.cc.
